Knime canvas stuck at 50% of application window

Hi there,
Somehow my Knime canvas is stuck at 50% of the application window. (zee picture below)
I tried maximizing, resornting windows. schnaged screen resolution. Checked the Eclipse settings.
Can please someone help?

You are not the first with this half screen problem. This is raised more often in other similar topics on this forum. The most recent one is this topic: Half screen problem (50% grey)
Please check the solutions provided in them.
