Hello,
How can i get back a worflow i didn’t delete on purpose on Knime?
is there some trash where all deleted things go?
Thanks for helping me
Unfortunately there is not. The KNIME server does offer a trash can where you could restore workflows but the base version would just delete the workflow or even workflow group. I am not sure if you could configure a warning.
Therefore you would have to rely on your own backup system or do an undelete (you might have to seek professional help).
Could you give us more details? How was the ‘versioning’ done, did you give the workflows new names?
Some details about you machine and disk might help.
Then: KNIME basic version does not have a dedicated versioning or auto-save feature, the KNIME server has that.
I once suggested a do-it-yourself backup system but this is more a sorry excuse for a real backup.

Having said that: if the data is absolutely critical you should stop doing anything with the machine and contact a professional data recovery service (like Ontrack) since this might be the only chance to get the file back if all other measures fail. Professional recovery s…
