We will work on a better method to let our community share their JKI challenge ideas soon.

Hi,
This is my idea : “Beat the Odds”
Objective :
Develop a machine-learning prediction model that identifies which horses will finish in the top three in Hong Kong races.
Source: Hong Kong Jockey Club race results
Coverage: All races run since September 2024
Size,: > 6 500 race-horse entries (I did it myself, it is perfectly informed)
1/ Developp a model and give all the metrics
2/ Feature importance
3/ Test your model in a real future race
4/ Explain one row of your selection
I will explain all the columns (= + 30)
I’ve already done one, I’d like to see how other people approach this challenge
