Problem with the File Reader Node when using workflow variables (again)

Hi,

in Knime 3.5.3 (Windows 10) I’ve just encountered the same problem of this old post:

“Problem with the File Reader Node when using workflow variables”

I checked the path, that exists and it’s correct, but file reader node doesn’t work.

I’m using the node “Table Row To Variable Loop Start” (i swear the same workflow was working and performing well a yer ago…).

Is it a bug or am i missing something?

i can not see the image you posted. Maybe it is broken. Can you show us a picture of the Node Configuration and the URLs?

Did you use file:\\\ to prefix the file URLs? I think the FileReader depends on that prefix.

I used “Location” as variable (and while i’m setting the node it’s ok, the problem is after closing the node)

OK! Now I’ve set URL instead of LOCATION and it works!
