Can the nodes be rotated in order to the better workflow layout?

Unfortunately this is not an option, and as you can see, you aren’t the first to ask…

Hi, There is no setting for that. It might be possible to change the implementation in the KNIME source code, but this will be a lot of work, as the implementation for connection routing and Metanode inputs/outputs had to be changed as well. Kind regards, Alexander

interested to hear how would a “better workflow layout” look like if you are able to rotate nodes? Connection lines are pretty flexible so you can “rotate” them for better layout design. For example:

Knime flow design layout

Is there a way design the layout of a workflow so the nodes don’t keep going on horizontally? I’m sure that I could fit my workflow on one page, so the user don’t have to scroll to the right to see the whole flow. Is there a way to maybe put the connecting points at the top and bottom of each node to save space?
