String to Date node - abbreviated month in all upper/lower case causes error

Apparently, if you have a date as string with an abbreviated month in either all uppercase or all lowecase, like this:
30/APR/2018 or 30/apr/2018
then the node fails with the “cannot parse …” error.
For some reason it only works with initial capital months, like this:
30/Apr/2018

I’m not sure if this is a bug or by design, the Java doc page doesn’t mention anything about this, but all the relevant examples are in initial caps.

Did anyone encounter this or knows the right format, to aviod manipulating the strings?
