Unable to switch to Workspace on Network Drive?

Hi Everyone,

Navigating this issue across multiple machines in our organization from versions 5.4.3 onwards at least - it is not fixed in 5.5

I posted about this earlier in March and the propose fix did not work.

Hi Everyone, This previously reported bug appears to have re-appeared in 5.4.2 and 5.4.3. On my workstation that I remote into, I am not able to switch my workspace in the Classic or Modern UI to an access restricted folder on my network shared drive. I am able to write to and read items from the directory in Windows. I tested with versions 5.4.2 and 5.4.3 Doesn’t matter if I use URI or traditional drive letter/directory approach. On my laptop on an older version of KNIME 5.2.4 I am able to…

"The path is not writable by the current user ..." in "Modern Interface"

When switching to an workspace in a network drive, using the “Modern Interface” I receive the following message: “The path is not writable by the currente user …” and is not possible to change it. But, prforming the same operation in “Classic Interface” it works fine.

Really need this resolved for a variety of reasons.

Any new advice / updates / solutions?
