Hi @VanessaSia
I got the data. I’m first trying to understand what you want to implement. Give me please a few minutes …
Thanks
Ael
Thank you very much!!!
Hi @VanessaSia
My pleasure. I have never used the -Association Rule Learner (Borgelt)- node, but from what I see, I guess you need to build a collection of Item Descriptions first. One way to achieve this, it is to use the GroupBy node to generate a collection of Items per “Member_Number”. I have also sorted the rows by date because I believe it is important but this is just a guess on my part though !
Please find a workflow here attached below which may bring some help:
20211101 Pikairos Error with Association Rule Learner Borgelt.knwf (2.7 MB)
Hope it helps. Otherwise please ask again and we will try to help you further.

PS: Note I have included your data into a folder inside the workflow. The folder is referenced in the -Excel Reader- node through a relative link: knime://knime.workflow/_LOCAL_DATA/Fresh Market.xlsx
Please do this way when you need to share a workflow with other Knimers so that it is easier to execute your workflow
Thank you sooooo much
My pleasure @VanessaSia and good luck with your assignment ! No need to stress, cool lol, we are here to help !

Hi again, i wanted to put member and item to antecedents and consequent, how i should do that?
im referring to example in knime hub 50_Applications → 16_Market Basket Analysis
Hi @VanessaSia
I have made a few modifications which I believe fixed the problem to run it up to the end. However I notice that when run, it generates huge tables and takes a lot of disk space. I hope this is ok for what you expect to be the results.
I have reset the workflow since it was too big to be uploaded here:
Student ID_101226577_A2_Analysis4.knwf (1.0 MB)
Hope it helps.

@VanessaSia not sure if the task is about the specific rule learning or if you want to consider other methods that are included in the KNIME Weka integration for example:
If you use the algorithms they all can be configured and depending on your data the settings might differ.
Also I do not want to add more complexity. If this is an academic assignment typically it does make sense to stick to the task.
And rule learning can take a lot of ressources, indeed.
Thank you soo sooo much!!!
