Workflows broken when opening - Status: Error: Unable to load settings for node with ID suffix

Hello,

I know this has been brought up in the past, but most of my older workflows will no longer open and I have messages like these now:

Status: Error: Unable to load settings for node with ID suffix.

100s of workflows seem lost :frowning: What can I do now?

Hi @nxfxcom,

Sorry to hear of this misfortune. You could try copy pasting the folders to a new folder and selecting that as a workspace. You can also try exporting and importing them.
However, if for whatever reason the files on disk were corrupted, you would need to find backups, e.g. if you deployed workflows to the community hub or a company server.

@nxfxcom could you give us and more informations? Is it possible that the workflows are on a MS OneDrive which might have some limitations with regrads towards special characters which KNIME needs (Restore Knime workflows - #6 by mlauber71).
