I’ve noticed that this error is fresh, maybe from the last 2 weeks:
Was the Python Integration v3.5.2 update released around this last 2 week?
I am also having the problem and I was able to test the following:
KNIME AP v5.3.1 + Python v3.5.2 = this error
KNIME AP v5.3.2 + Python v3.5.2 = no error at all — it just works!
I have already edited the knime.ini and I have a 40GB RAM computer running KNIME, the same computer for both setup 1 and 2, so the memory is almost certainly not the problem.
1 is installed, 2 is running from the portable version.
Earlier today, 1 was also running on a portable version and had the same error.
So the problem is not whether it’s portable or installed.
I’ve tried several enviroments as well.
I’ve lost my whole Friday trying to troubleshoot this.
I have to use KNIME AP v5.3.1 because the KNIME Hub server is on this version
Knowing that, how can I revert my Python Integration to v5.3.1?
I can’t find a simple way on the software itself.
Thank you.
@carstenhaubold I saw that you commented on a previous topic, here is one more with some other details for your analysis. Thank you! @ScottF if you want some more details I can provide. Just let me know.
I first saw your message in Python ExternalProcessMemoryWatchdog error so I replied there. Please see the instructions in my comment there to downgrade the Python Integration to a working state. Sorry for the hassle!
